I always like Mr. Van Veen’s commentary, and yes he’s in the business of selling you CDs to hawk at your merch table, but he always has a pretty honest take on things (pretty refreshing in this industry!):
Soundfly is one of the sites I subscribe to because they provide interesting commentary and advice while trying to sell their courses. I get that, and as I’ve said before, providing something interesting with what are essentially sales pitch emails will at least get my attention, even if I’m not in a buying mood right now. Good stuff here:
