Last week’s Bonus Round: Mark Knopfler wrote the score to the movie “Princess Bride” and a number of other films, including one of my favorites, the offbeat, quirky movie “Local Hero” - it’s worth watching and Mark Knopfler’s hauntingly beautiful score is just one reason why.

For this post’s Veteran’s Day Bonus Round, everyone wins!: Mark Knopfler also wrote this wonderful ballad, and later performed it to benefit British veterans of the Falklands conflict.
