New Post Tomorrow!!

Thanks to all who read, enjoyed and subscribed(!) after last week’s interview with Adam Perlmutter, editor of Acoustic Guitar magazine!

A couple of weeks ago, I talked about where inspiration comes from, and shared a long forgotten phrase I’d noted, then turned that into this bit of silliness:

“My specialty’s bad timing,

No meter, or lousy rhyming,

But I’ll think of more tomorrow,

So feel free to borrow”

For tomorrow’s post I’m going to treat that as short verse and write a couple of lines of similar doggerel as a chorus. We’ll “phrase out” both of them, at least as I see the phrasing, maybe adjust the meter and syllable count with some lyric substitutions or reordering and think about how we would create a chord structure to support it.
