Lots of links today, and my usual disclaimer: Every link on here is trying to sell you something, and I’ve purchased something in one form or another from most of them (subscription, courses, donations, a Patreon subscription, etc). None of them have purchased anything from me or provided any sort of compensation or promotional consideration or any other form of remuneration. You may notice the list of links I provide are limited to a fairly small number of sources. There may be a lot of sources I’m unaware of that I might discover some day and link to (suggest one in the comments if you have a favorite!), but they’ll have to have the same characteristics that these do, namely that they each have the great marketing strategy of providing something of value in themselves to everyone who receives or views these articles, emails, etc - tips, advice, how-tos, encouragement, a unique viewpoint and such. I end up on a LOT of mailing lists and most of them are frankly little but spam. If I link to something here it’s because I think it’s going to be helpful in some way to some subset of my readers. The choice to buy or subscribe to any of these sources is yours alone - I neither encourage nor discourage your choices, though you may be able to figure out by omission which of the “bigs” in the industry I avoid linking to regularly. ‘Nuff said.

Need Another Guitar? This kind of made me laugh, because how could I not need another guitar….?
Buying A Guitar From A Private Seller - A quick note here, same disclaimer, but I and most of the musicians I know trust Reverb for used gear (which most of mine is!) more than a lot of other sources, but be sure to check the ratings and buyer comments, some deals really are too good to be true.
Budget Guitar Transformation? I have to admit, I’ve not really tried this, in fact I gave away the only HPL guitar I had to someone who needed a guitar but couldn’t afford one at the time, but your mileage may vary.

Guitar Tuning Issues That “new strings” feeling is magic, IMHO….
Planning A Music Release This is a link to a podcast, and I’m not a big fan of podcasts - I just don’t feel like listening to most podcasts that have a host and guests just joshing around a lot or going off on tangents. Meh. This one avoids some of that by including in the accompanying text links to the time a specific topic is discussed under the general heading of planning a music release. I wish more podcasts did something like this, or at least got down to business without all the BS, maybe I’d listen more. Tony Van Veen’s YouTubes are like that, straightforward and to the point - he ought to make it company policy.
I forgot this in last week’s main post, though I think I’m going to include it only in the Thursday “Links” posts from now on and save Friday’s for the Bonus Round stuff.
Regular Friday post tomorrow!
Cheers and keep playing!!
