I'm a music lover that has a hard time finding music I like from this century. So, thank you for this one! What a great song! There is something about Ondara's vocal performance that evoked Tracy Chapman to my ear. Maybe it was the phrasing? Anyway, I'm adding this one to my iPod (yes, I still use an iPod!).

The Tracy Chapman analogy is apt - she’s another of my favorites as well - in fact she was one of the singer/songwriters I noted in a previous post (from quite a ways back I think) about “6 interesting people I wish I could sit down and have a beverage with”. That list included John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Aimee Mann, Elvis Costello, Iris Dement(? - can’t remember), but I think I relegated Bob Dylan to serving the drinks (that was cheeky, to say the least...). I’d definitely have a tasty beverage with Mr. Ondara!
