Love the original Everybody's Talkin' At Me. You're probably going to cringe when I say this, but there's almost a bossa nova, begin the beguine vibe in the bass.
No cringe here, Adam! The Nilsson version is so familiar that it was nice to hear a different take, especially by the original artist. I liked the relative simplicity of the Fred Neil original, maybe because, even though the intervals are the same, Nilsson’s voice is somehow more “mournful” - which probably fit the film better. I need to play it today! Should be a nice fingerpick… I listened to the Fred Neil version several times and was captured every time by the guitar work - I assume on the 12 string acoustic
