Good stuff, Michael. Please, write about the Crossroads some day, and the Delta bluesmen. (Robert Johnson).

Thanks, Jim - I know I've written about Robert Johnson and the crossroads legend and early blues artists like (my favorite), Mr. John Hurt and Elizabeth Cotton and the "...bellys" and the "Blinds" several times, but over 2 years and over 200 posts it's hard to track them down now. In almost every case the resource I use the most is a 2001 book by Steve James, "Inside Blues Guitar", Stringfellow Press (Acoustic Guitar Magazine's publishing house). It's always a good time revisiting the legendary Robert Johnson of course, and the crossroads mythology might be a good Halloween post, though I also like to write something about the music from Donnie Darko around then as well....

Great post again, as always! Even the music theory stuff that goes over my head makes me feel smarter. And thanks for sharing the Brian Fallon clip and giving me the shout out!

Mika's whiskers!! They're so long and curled! I've never seen a cat's whiskers like hers before; I love it.
