Have fun with the demo. Sounds like a lot of moving parts. ✌️

Good luck on the demo, Michael.

Speaking of demos, there's a really interesting story of how Tom Scholz recorded the demos for Boston's debut album in the basement of his apartment building. Brad @BRADKYLE I'm sure you know all about it.

RIP Duane Eddy

Good luck with the doc demo, Michael! Helpful discourse about demos, too...always sort of a mysterious "beast" in rock's history. There's a lot demos don't need to be, but there's, at least, something they SHOULD be....that fine line (short of being like Clapton)!!

Your readers might find it helpful to hear some of Stephen Michael Schwartz's (1974 album for RCA Records when he was 20, as you know) demos he's exclusively provided me in some of his 20 articles (in his own words)!

We keep his articles tagged at the top of the site (https://bradkyle.substack.com/t/stephen-michael-schwartz), and most of the titles mention "DEMO" if there's one enclosed! Also, today's FR&B "Inside Tracks" has an original Ellie Greenwich demo for the eventual Quincy Jones 1964 production of Lesley Gore's "Maybe I Know" (written by Greenwich and Jeff Barry)! Thanks, Michael, and keep us posted on landing your song!
