I saw One Republic open for U2 on the Joshua tree 30th Anniversary Tour. I don't think I had ever heard them before that. They held their own, despite everyone being anxious for U2 to take the stage. Some time after the show I looked them up, and I was shocked to find out that for a period of time, Prayer Chain Guitarist Andrew Prickett was a member on One Republic for a brief period of time.
This is beginning to sound like one of my conversations with Brad Kyle who writes the SubStack “Front Row and Backstage” and writes about, among other things, all the odd and unexpected connections among folks in the biz - his stuff is great - check him out!

Thanks, will do.
We'd love to see you past the rope line, Dave, FRONT ROW & BACKSTAGE! If you've visited before, we'd love to welcome you back! Cheers! Brad
I don't know why I'm so late to THIS dance, but I thought I heard my name!😉Thanks, Michael! I'll try to be more punctual!!
Sounds like a great show - that’s gotta be a tough open!
